Many layers of old construction were peeled back during demolition to maximize ceiling heights and to expose the original materials of this vintage cottage.  The design brief was to create a new primary suite and kitchen with a generous connection to an outdoor dining area, while planning for a future addition and pool that would need Zoning approval. Tons of indirect natural light was brought into the interior with a deep skylight and a large stacking glazed door system, creating a stronger connection to the outdoors and easy flow for this casual beach home.
